In
the Southeast, the Southeast CHP Application Center (CHPCenterSE) does
not work as a lone entity. There are several groups that serve
in an advisory manner to help formulate the activities that
the CHPCenterSE undertakes.
 The
CHPCenterSE works closely with the Southeast CHP Initiative (SECHPI)
and the Southeast Cogeneration Association, receiving valuable
insights from both organizations to help focus and leverage activities
to be the most beneficial to the promotion CHP in the Southeast.
The leaders of the CHPCenterSE meet routinely with the leaders of these
organizations to discuss activities and identify areas where
the CHPCenterSE can provide support. The CHPCenterSE also sends representatives
to their meetings.
The CHPCenterSE has close working relationships with the DOE Atlanta Regional Office (ARO) and the State Energy Offices. The DOE ARO has a long established working relationship with each of the nine State Energy Offices within the CHPCenterSE region (which coincides with the DOE ARO region); this relationship will be a benefit to the CHPCenterSE in that it will help expedite the CHPCenterSE introduction and then solidify the relationship with all nine States.
Besides the CHPCenterSEs two Federal Sponsors and Partners, the DOE and Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the CHPCenterSE will also establish a relationship with the Environmental Protection Agency's CHP Partnership Program.
